Office Assistant

Location: Laurel, MD
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay: $18/hour, increasing to $20/hour after training completion

Ultimate Staffing is hiring on behalf of a valued client in Laurel, MD, seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join their dynamic team. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, team-oriented, and driven to succeed in a fast-paced office environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general data entry with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Input and manage customer orders in the internal system
  • Follow up with manufacturers to ensure timely order processing
  • Update shipment delivery times and project deadlines
  • Track parts and maintain accurate order records
  • Support the sales team with professional email correspondence and administrative tasks
  • Answer and route phone calls as needed and assist with general office support duties

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Previous office or administrative support experience preferred
